We have used various services she offers and highly recommend to anyone - training, private walks, small group adventures, and overnight boarding. Amalia is professional, responsive and considerate, I truly appreciated that she spent time during initial consults to make sure she understood my dog’s specific needs and any goals we collectively were trying to accomplish. She is patient, kind, and compassionate in her training approach (R+/science based approach, giving dog’s freedom and choice, and no aversives), keeping animal welfare, happiness and safety as a top priority in any outings. And fun! She brings such creativity and fun to dog training and any behavior/environmental management. She also builds training programs that are customized approaches specific to the dog in front of her, vs taking a one-size fits all approach. Having two husky mixes in the adolescent phase was a massive challenge, each with individual needs and skill sets, but she gave both our pups and the humans confidence and skills to build our relationship and improve communication for a lifetime to come. Amalia is amazing! She’s been walking and taking care of our dog Harry on and off for the last year+, and we have nothing but great things to say. As for Harry, his body wiggles and tail wags speak for themselves! She’s also helped us with separation distress training - Harry got used to having constant company during early COVID. It took us a while to build his comfort being alone again, and Amalia was a huge help in diagnosing the issue and giving us clear strategies. 11/10 would recommend.

We were referred to Amalia as we needed a dog walker for our adolescent ACD/shepherd mix who is leash reactive.  We were pleasantly surprised that our pup was totally fine with her the first time he met her.  We like how Amalia was gentle and patient with him.  She uses her dog training skills during the walks and would provide feedback after the walks.  Our pup also joined her group walks and he loved the off-leash adventures at the beach or the park.
